Eliminate Chronic Pain!

You may be surprised to know, that your pain may be from posture imbalances. That's right, posture!

Posture is the alignment of your musculoskeletal system when you're in a normal standing position. It's altered based on your lifestyle and typically, by the age of 30 becomes deviated from where it's designed to be.

Why Are You In Pain?

Bad posture could be the result of an old injury, hours of sitting behind a desk, hours of driving, repetitive use injuries from exercise or work, or simply a postural dysfunction such as scoliosis. All of these can knock your body out of perfect alignment, causing pain, limitations, cartilage decay or even contributing to a specific chronic illness.

There is a Root Cause!

If one shoulder is higher than the other, how do you think it got that way? If your pelvis is tilted, how do you think it got that way? What about  the position of your spine? The answer is muscles! Without muscles, your skeleton doesn't move! That makes muscle dysfunction your root cause! Once dysfunctional, other muscles compensate to pick up the slack and before you know it, your muscle memory locks you into a problematic posture which you now stand, walk, run, sit, and sleep with. Your poor bones, joints and nerves are now innocent bystanders of this muscular chaos.

The Correction

You are NOT broken. Your body is simply creating symptoms to warn you that it needs correction. So what we do is, evaluate your posture and run you through functional tests to see what's going on. Then we give you customized menu routines of gentle exercises that are sequenced with a mission; to release muscle dysfunction and get the musculoskeletal system back into alignment.
From back pain and knee pain to bunions and plantar fasciitis, our therapy approach is hands down the easiest and most effective solution available for getting rid of pain and teaching yourself how to stay in control of your physical health.

Virtual Therapy

Unlike Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physical Therapists, we do NOT need to touch you. Instead, we deliver virtual therapy via tele-health conference. We also do not need to take expensive x-rays that fill you with radiation because we can evaluate your posture week by week through simple photos to track your progress.

You and your personal therapist will become a team from the comfort of your own home. Managing and eliminating your chronic pain today has never been more convenient. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection.

The Method

Our therapists are certified in the world famous Egoscue method.

For 50 years, the founder, Pete Eogscue has broken the glass ceiling of pain-free living with his books, radio show and clinics. It was his realization in 1971 that no matter how different the circumstances or the age of the individual, their pain was coming from skeletal misalignment and muscular weakness. What he developed was a method for strengthen key muscles and using them to restore and maintain alignment.

Celebrity Testimonials for the Egoscue Method

Jack Nicklaus, Legendary Golfer

“Pete Egoscue totally changed my life. Never have I experienced such complete pain relief as I have by following The Egoscue Method.”

Tony Robbins, World Renowned Motivational Teacher

"Egoscue offers you the opportunity to take control of your physical well-being for life."

Dave Asprey, Author & Podcaster

"Egoscue really did move the needle with things that were entirely invisible to me in the way I move. I like to think I'm conscious, I've done advanced yoga, I'm I would say, above average in certain things, like I put my ankles behind my head and I can activate certain muscles, but it was a whole another universe of just deep knowledge. That was four years ago, and certainly it's just become part of what I do and how I perform better."

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Egoscue Work?

The Egoscue Method uses a series of gentle exercises and stretches to return musculoskeletal balance and symmetry to your body. It’s no secret that muscles move bones. If your body has lost its designed posture, it’s because muscles have moved your bones into a new, dysfunctional position. Pain is the body’s way of alerting you to the fact that your body isn’t aligned—and therefore isn’t moving—properly. Through The Egoscue Method, your muscles will be reeducated and reminded how they need to function in order to maintain proper alignment.

What's the difference with Postural Therapy and Physical Therapy?

The main difference is that Egoscue is a holistic therapy, meaning it looks at the whole body. For example, if someone has hip arthritis, your posture therapist might find that your shoulder position & lack of function is one of the main causes of the hip.
In most PT settings, they are not going to look at the shoulder or treat it (even if they see it's a problem) because that is not what is being covered by insurance or the referring doctor may not be okay with it.

And since Egoscue is a whole-body therapy, spine issues that you mention fall within that category. The important distinction is that Egoscue does not treat the symptoms, but the overall function of the body -- creating more balance and function.

Is The Egoscue Method different than Yoga or Pilates?

Yes. The Egoscue Method is a specifically tailored set of exercises designed to eliminate your structural dysfunctions that are causing your pain. The majority of yoga and Pilates classes are group-based where everyone in the class is asked to do the same exercises, poses, or moves. The Egoscue Method fosters a client-driven therapy experience where you and your therapist work together to develop your exercise menu, taking only what your body is able to functionally give on that day.

How long will it take for results?

All of our clients respond differently and on different timelines. However, the vast majority feel different after their first visit. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself; you just have to give it a chance. Remember, you most likely didn’t get into your current position overnight, and you won’t get out of it overnight. The Egoscue Method is a process, but one with a remarkable 94 percent success rate since its inception.

What about nutrition?

As you probably know by now, Dr. Reese's therapeutic approach is based on the 3 macro categories of health (nutrition, attitude and posture). This 6-month program is addressing only 1 of the 3 categories. If you wish to receive full well-being care from our clinic, simply add on other programs or courses. Or, message us so we can discuss. We always encourage conversation.

Why is the program 6-months?

6 months is a nice chunk of time to create real life-changing results. Keep in mind that we are working to eliminate structural dysfunctions that have been decades in the making.

Is Postural Therapy covered by insurance?

No. Being non-medical, postural therapy is not covered by insurance. To us, that's a good thing because we are NOT handcuffed to the medical monopoly.

Dr. Reese has said in videos that he recommends anyone that is financially capable to develop a well-being budget. This would include quality organic food, supplements, massages, health memberships and more.

Besides urgent care and infections, healthcare is really a "pain management system" where as well-being care is a pain reversal system. Unfortunately, the way the system is set up, well-being care is treated as a "product" which makes it an out of pocket expense.

Do I have to do my menu in its entirety?

Yes, you need to do your full menu at least once per day, in the given order. One exercise sets up the next, so sequencing is important. Outside of that time, you can do any exercises that you feel are beneficial for your body.

Is it normal to feel sore after doing my menu?

Soreness is normal and can be a good thing. We call this “muscle awakening”, and it should diminish the more times you do your menu as your muscles adapt and adjust to the new work. Keep in mind that soreness is different from pain. If you are experiencing true pain, let your therapist know so any necessary adjustments can be made.

Can I still see my chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist, or other health practitioner while doing your 6-month program?

Yes, The Egoscue Method can be used in conjunction with many different healing modalities. That being said, our goal is to return control of your health back to your hands so that ultimately you aren’t dependent on another person or machine to achieve an optimal state of health. The Egoscue Method’s “hands off” approach educates you on what you need to do to fix yourself. However, our favorite modality that goes hand and hand with Egoscue is massage therapy.

Do I need to purchase expensive equipment?

While Egoscue equipment is recommended, the vast majority of our exercises can be performed with items you have lying around your house, such as a chair.

Choose Peace OVER Pain

When your musculoskeletal system is misaligned your body will scream in pain, cartilage will decay and inflammation will develop.  Most people run to get surgery, but we reverse the cause through posture alignment. This process happens through the art of gentle exercises which are sequenced in a strategic manner.
