Postural Dysfunction by Dr. Reese
by Dr. Reese
People don't realize how many symptoms come from a misaligned musculoskeletal system.
Now I'm not talking about the way you sit or the way you sleep. I'm talking about the position of your musculoskeletal system.
Head-to-toe healing is about zooming out and looking at the body as a whole unit.
Why?
Because everything is connected, if you have symptoms above your shoulders, I can look down at your ankles and feet and connect the dots on that and then vice versa because everything is connected. And if you've ever seen my head to toe analyses where I am evaluating the body, you can see how everything is connected. 👇
The spine, the skull, the feet, the ankles, the tib-fibs, the gut, the blood, the lymph, and all the systems come together to create this universe called the human body, and In my opinion, this is what's wrong with the medical system. They zoom in and they focus on one thing.
So if you have knee pain, they're focused on those knees. They're not looking to see if your head is on top of your shoulders or if you're walking around duck-footed. They just aren't trained in that way. They zoom in and they give you drugs or they cut you or both and they never get to the root causes of the symptoms. They are just focused on one thing and you know that because you've been from specialist to specialist to specialist.
There are millions of doctors.
There's a doctor for every part of your body. You see, in head to toe healing, there's only one practitioner that understands the body from head to toe. And I'm very proud to say that I have the most results ever recorded on video.
If I were to play you all the videos from all the people testifying their results from head to toe healing it would take upwards of six hours, that's like three movies.
But I want to show you some of these results because you need proof.
Testimonials of Dr. Reese's 120-Day Challenge Program.
I was having bulging discs in the back of my neck and they were they were creating a pinch nerve down my right arm that was very severe and very painful and was really just doing horrible things to my quality of life. I just want to say the pain itself was gone within three weeks which was just completely incredible to me. I had no idea that it would work that fast.

So coming into this I have PCOS which is polycystic ovarian syndrome. I would never get a period it would be you know years and years would go by and I'd maybe get one every two to three years. On this program alone, the four months I've been on it, I've gotten a period every month and that's like unheard of.
- Leah Lattanzi
You know, I just finished up my 120 and we have these conferences and sometimes on Saturday night they'll have a two-hour dance thing and before the program I could only dance maybe you know a long country song my hips was hurting so bad I couldn't wait for the song to be over with and we just had another conference a little over a month ago I guess and it was a two-hour long deal and I danced two hours never stopped.

So for 30 years I've had inhalers, multiple inhalers for my asthma. I no longer have to use any of my inhalers. I no longer have asthma attacks. I feel so much better. I've also had eczema for about 18 years now and since doing the program I haven't had any eczema outbreaks at all.
- Danielle
Migraines. I suffered from that 14 years. It stopped me from going to work, my daily activity, and that's gone away. I'm back to when I was in high school. Even my neck thinned out, I lost weight, but that's a bonus. The weight loss is a bonus of healing because I was so swollen from all the prednisone, a lot of medication. I could say your name on wall because I used to pick them up monthly at CVS now they're not gonna see my face so they just lost a customer.

If you read my book Peace Over Pain then you know how dramatic of an effect poor posture can have on your health. Posture tends to be a minimized term. What it means is the position of your musculoskeletal system. And that's your vehicle. That's the structure that you walk through the world with. If you have misalignment, it can cause more health issues than you can even imagine.
You can evaluate and judge posture with the eight load joints. This is what keeps you upright. Your knees are above your ankles, your hips are above your knees, your shoulders are above your hips, and then we use the ears as a marker to be above your shoulders. When this is in a straight line from the side view, we know you're looking really good. Most people are not, however. And so, I evaluate these by looking at your posture photos.
So how would your knee get out of alignment? Or how would your neck or your spine or your feet get out of alignment? Well, the answer is muscles. Because muscles move bones. And you might be surprised to know that you have over 600 muscles in your body.
Muscles are so complicated science hasn't even studied all of them yet, because there's no way to. There are muscles underneath muscles. For example, you might know a famous muscle like the trapezius, right? On the top of your shoulders, your neck. There are muscles underneath the trapezius, and we call these deep posture muscles. That's how complicated it is and these muscles are very strong and they will pull you out of alignment if you let them.
We're talking about years sitting at a computer or years of being a tradesman or years of being an athlete or years of being a couch potato. Whatever the activity is, that dictates your posture, that dictates your musculoskeletal alignment. And then you walk through the world with this bad posture and more symptoms come about because now your cartilage can be misaligned, your spine, not to mention your lymphatic system slows down, your digestive system can be impaired, and of course pinched nerves are very common.
I mean the list goes on and on. That's why if you've ever seen my video about the six root causes of dis-ease, then you know that one of them is muscle dysfunction. Because muscle dysfunction is the root cause of poor posture. It's all about the muscles, the bones, the joints, the connective tissue, the tendons, the ligaments, they're just going along for the ride. It's the muscles that are the boss and that boss can bully you.
When it comes to posture it really comes down to your pelvic position and your shoulder position because your pelvis and your shoulders are like girdles, they are seesaws.
They can move in four different directions up, down, side, side. But again, what moves the pelvis and the shoulders? It's muscles.
This is why most chiropractors and osteopaths can't get it 100% because they're more focused on the bones.
They can pop you back into place sometimes, but your dysfunctional muscles will pull you right back out of balance in just a few weeks. This is why postural therapy is so important. This is why it's part of Head to Toe Healing, otherwise known as the 3 Macro Methods. And this is why we're so successful at getting people out of their health burdens.
Postural therapy is to your muscles what brushing and flossing is to your mouth. And it should be done daily to keep your muscles functional.
This is a big reason why Tom Brady was able to play for 75 years in the NFL. He made his muscles functional instead of hitting the gym and lifting weights. If you ever do a Head to Toe Analysis with us, you'll understand because I'll be able to evaluate your body and you will be amazed at what you see.
That was just a quick breakdown of what posture is. Now, as it relates to OA in the spine, it's similar to the joints. Your muscles are pulling the spine out of alignment.
So someone could have kyphosis, they could have lordosis, they could have cervical flexion, whatever it is. If there's a compression happening with the vertebrae and perhaps there's a bulging disc or a herniated disc, then those vertebrae could touch and then it's the same thing as a knee or a hip. And you're going to start getting that soreness and the cracking. And it's the same thing all over again coming from muscle dysfunction. So as posture relates to osteoarthritis in the joints, we're talking about biarticular muscle dysfunction. An example of that could be the rectus femoris. Let's take a look at that.
So you can see the rectus femoris starts at the pelvis and comes all the way down to the top of the tib fib. That means it's crossing two joints, the hip and the knee. This is what we mean by bi-articular muscles. It is directly responsible for stabilizing the knee.
And if this becomes dysfunctional, then that's going to change the alignment of the knee.
I also want to say, I'm just using rectus femoris as an example. There's other bi-articular muscles that cross multiple joints. Muscles are very complicated and if they become dysfunctional, they will misalign you. So now you have a misaligned joint and you're walking through the world.
And boom, boom, boom. The more you go, the more that cartilage decays because of the angle of the joints.
All a joint is two bones coming together with a bunch of stuff in between those bones called cartilage and then ligaments holding it together and the cartilage is meant to be a buffer in between the two bones. Your body doesn't want bone-on-bone it will fight against bone on bone. In fact, the body will create these things called osteophytes. They're little bones that stick out almost like teeth. That's trying to create separation so that the bones don't touch because it doesn't want friction.
Typically, they've nicknamed osteophytes with the term bone spurs. They can happen on your spine, they can happen on the heel of your foot if your gait is off and your body is trying to create space between the floor. So if your cartilage is decaying and the bones are touching, your body is going to create these bone spurs to create space and that may cause some cracking.
So if you have a misalignment, and you're walking through the world, it's only natural that that cartilage in between is going to decay over time. If you took your fist and you slammed it into your other hand and you just kept grinding it all day, your skin will start to deteriorate, and that's exactly what happens with your cartilage from misalignment or as we call it poor posture.
You end up in your primary care physician's office and of course they're going to send you to a specialist as you go through the carousel of frustration inside the medical monopoly and Their treatment it's going to start with aspirin, Advil or Tylenol. Then you're looking at prednisone, right? Then you're looking at potential surgery. Knee replacements are one of the biggest money earners in the medical monopoly.
It's about 40 grand per knee. And in America, there's about 800,000 knee replacements a year. Allow me to do the math for you there. The calculator doesn't even handle it. It's 3.2 billion dollars off knees alone. Think about that. So you get a knee replacement surgery but you never fix the root cause.
So what happens? A year later, you need your other knee done, or you need your hip done, or you need your ankles done. It never stops...
