Vocal Cord Regenerated

DR. REESE: So what was wrong with your vocal cord?

WOMAN: Well, I was scared into surgery. Whether or not it was necessary, I don't know, but he used all the horrible words, "you're going to have a stroke", and, "you're going to have a heart attack", and, "you're going to be in a wheelchair".

So I had the surgery and afterward I kind of sounded like a frog. He said, "oh, just give it a few days", or, "give it a few weeks", or, "give it a handful of months". So I finally went and had the thing put down my throat and they said, "oh yeah, your vocal cord is partially paralyzed, not working".

So I had already been hanging out on your Facebook page in the background for two years and I had already been off gluten for 10 years at that time, but I was like the French fry queen haha.

So I got rid of that (and it took a good year), but all of a sudden one day I went back for my final, like I'll go one more time and have them look at my vocal cord and it was working. There it is. No more frog sounding voice.

DR. REESE: So you got off the poor four foods and your vocal cord regenerated?

WOMAN: Yes.

DR. REESE: In one year?

WOMAN: Yep.

DR. REESE: Can't make this stuff up. You're not a paid actor?

WOMAN: No, I'm sure not.

DR. REESE: I didn't send you a thousand dollars?

WOMAN: No, but you can if you want.

DR. REESE: Very cool. That's really good to hear. You must have been very happy with that.

WOMAN: Yes, yes. I am very grateful.

DR. REESE: All that was happening was the free radical damage just happened to hit that area and then by getting off the poor four foods, it gave it a chance to regenerate.
