TMJ Gone, Migraines Gone and Backpain Gone
KAREN: When I first contacted you, I was actually kind of reflecting on conversations and my notes that have been taken throughout this process. That was one of the main reasons why I contacted you in the beginning back in December was TMJ. And honestly, I don't even know if I really had it. You always talk about the medical monopoly. I think the dental monopoly is just the same because I got in the chair and then they told me I had one problem and then I visited somebody else and they told me at another problem and then it escalated to where I had TMJ and then all of a sudden they fit me for this really expensive $4,000 appliance that I bought and then it changed my jaw and once I found you I was really excited because they were trying to convince me to do this protocol that was going to be $14,000.
DR. REESE: Whoa.
KAREN: And that wasn't even going to take care of all of my issues.
KAREN: I ended up ditching the appliance that I bought after wearing it for a few months, and then found you and started doing the protocols and my jaw went back into the place it was supposed to be, and my pain went away. I don't have my neck pain, my shoulder pain.
DR. REESE: So the migraines are gone?
KAREN: The migraines are gone. The upper back pain's gone. The neck pain's gone. The jaw pain's gone too.
DR. REESE: In 120 days?
KAREN: Yeah, actually today's 122.
DR. REESE: There you go. That's awesome.
KAREN: And it went by so fast. So fast, I wasn't even counting the days. If I didn't look at my little chart to know what day it was, it didn't matter. Because I knew I was making progress.
KAREN: Like you said, don't get caught in your head.
KAREN: Before I used to, I felt like my brain was a pinball machine and all the thoughts were going all over the place and it was ringing and dinging and it could be during the daytime, nighttime when I woke up in the middle of the night and stuff like that. But my thoughts and my head, my brain is so much clearer now. And I did the session where you were talking about doing the meditation in the shower. So I did that yesterday and then I was like, "oh, I'm washing dishes".
KAREN: I'm gonna do it when I'm washing dishes, washing this plate, washing this fork, whatever. And I was so focused on the present that I forgot to go to my parent's house to help them in the morning.
KAREN: Then I had to call them, "I'm so sorry, I'm late. I'm gonna be an hour late." because I was caught up in the moment.
